Our Vision

Providing an Indonesia wide mental/emotional crisis support network, free of discrimination and inclusive to all in need of help, in both Indonesian and English languages.

Our story

BISA (Bersama Bisa Foundation) is an organization in Indonesia that focuses on providing support for emotional healing and breaking the stigma around mental health. We believe that with the right support system, everyone can achieve their dreams. BISA offers a crisis hotline through their call center, where trained operators are available to listen and provide support to those in need.

We also have a Support Buddies program that pairs individuals with others who have overcome similar challenges. If the Support Buddies are unable to assist, there is a team of professionally trained experts available for further support. BISA’s ultimate goal is to connect people from around the world with the best support, whether it’s someone from their own country or abroad, in order to create a sense of community and belonging.

The Bersama Bisa Foundation was founded in October 2020 by 12 marginalized NGO Yayasan mental health and disability communities in Indonesia. Their main objective is to raise awareness and combat the stigma surrounding mental health issues. They strive to create an accepting environment for mental and emotional crises.

In April 2021, the foundation launched the LISA Suicide Prevention Helpline, the only helpline of its kind in Indonesia, offering round-the-clock assistance to a population of approximately 265 million people. With the mission is to prevent suicides and provide support to individuals in crisis. The foundation aims to put an end to the distressing trend of suicide attempts and tragedies. The BISA Project, initiated by the Bersama Bisa Foundation, aims to raise awareness about suicide prevention and offer support.

We believe that by bringing people together, lives can be saved and future tragedies prevented.

The BBF (Bersama Bisa Foundation) community is dedicated to preventing suicides and aims to establish a society where mental health issues are openly discussed and readily available support is provided.
